Raipur Airport (IATA: RPR, ICAO: VARP) aka Mana Airport is located 15 km (9.3 mi) south of Raipur, in the state of Chhattisgarh, India.This Airport is one of the 35 non-metro airports presently getting modernised by AAI. The state government is also contributing in upliftment of the airport. A gigantic new terminal building with transparent roof and 4 aerobridges is under construction which is scheduled to get commsioned by March 2012.Presently it is served by Air India,Jet Airways ,Jetlite and IndiGo while Kingfisher Airlines has suspended its operations in Nov 2011 due to its bad financial condition. More Airlines like SpiceJet have expressed interest to add Raipur to their network once the new terminal building is operational. There are also plans to start international flights after the modernization.
